The PTA class was enlightening. This is a class every one of my administrative assistants will attend. As an attorney I was a little skeptical of taking a class for administrative assistants. Was I ever glad I listened to my gut which said, “Take the class.” In this class, I learned from start to finish how to work a file. I knew the theory from Boot Camp, but was light on what forms to use when. From answering the clients first questions about Tax Dispute Resolution, to organizing files necessary to track three months of expenses by IRS required category, to the letters that needed to go out, to a tickle up system, to closing down a file.
