As a tax problem solving professional you have a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing non-profit association who’s mission is to provide members with resources that will assure their ability to provide taxpayers with competent representation before the IRS and other taxing authorities.

As an ASTPS member you will recieve:
- Tele-Seminars - There will be at least 9 Tele-Seminars annually that will cover technical and marketing/management topics from the industry's top speakers. If you cannot make the live tele-seminar, it will be recorded and put on the members only section of the website for you to listen to at your convenience.
- Membership Certificate - Two copies of a Membership Certificate, one to hang in your office and one to display in your lobby. (Clients and prospective clients look for things like this, it builds credibility)
- Member Newsletter - ASTPS's Quarterly Newsletter, The TAPeR Practitioner Times, which is jam-packed with information you can use in your practice everyday!
- ASTPS Logo - The license to use the ASTPS logo in any marketing campaigns you may do. (You will receive a floppy disk in your Membership Packet with a PDF/JPG of our logo)
- Discounts - A 5% discount on all future seminars and products sponsored by ASTPS.
- Educational Seminars - ASTPS sponsored seminars not only provide you with the latest tips, tricks and knowledge to better assist your clients, but also the importance of networking with other tax professionals is very helpful as well. ALL ASTPS SPONSORED EVENTS APPROVED FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS FOR CPAS, ATTORNEYS & ENROLLED AGENTS.
- Press Release - A sample press release to publicize your name on becoming a member.
- Certification - An opportunity to sit for the Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS) exam or to transfer your existing certification from another group. The CTRS designation gives you a “leg up” on competition and sets you a part from the rest. Earning this designation insures that you have the skills and knowledge to represent your client or potential client better than anyone else! Two certificates will be provided for you, one for your office and the other for your lobby.
- Members Only - Use of the password protected Members Only section of our website, www.astps.org. In that section you will find useful articles, downloads, tax information, and more!
- Link Up! - Add your Firm Name and Website Link to the ASTPS website!
