Ronald Buckley, EA, Melbourne, FL Top notch presenters and up to date laws along with tricks of the trade made this trip a valuable learning experience. I can't wait to return to work and begin implementing the new procedures and options learned in this seminar. Dan Dwyer, CPA, CTRS, Linwood, NJ After attending these seminars you always go back to the office with a brand new attitude and enthusiasm in dealing with the IRS. Highly recommended!
Ani Labayan, EA, Calabasas, CA A good program, learned a lot. As a matter of fact, I have got more mileage from this program conducted by ASTPS as compared to others. Always have come back to the office better and more knowledgeable than before. Keep up the good work Larry." Amit Chandel, CPA, CTRS, Brea, CA I really enjoyed this program. I have been a CPA for over 40 years and these ASTPS seminars give me information that is not given by other organizations I have been involved in. Excellent speakers, programs, materials, and topics. (San Diego 2010) Glenda Bayless, CPA, Apple Valley, CA If you truly want to separate your firm from the masses and learn how to properly represent your clients, you must become a member of ASTPS and attend the seminars. If you're not a member JOIN NOW!!! Gregory McCauley, Esq., Chadds Ford, PA Coming into this seminar I was unsure of what direction to go in in my career, after attending I have been sold on completing the EA and pursuing resolution. This seminar was fascinating and eye-opening. The speakers were extremely knowledgable and motivational. Thank you for this experience. (Baltimore 2010) Sheila Idoria, Centerville, MA In today's environment attendance of these types of workshops shouldn't be optional…but required. Jack McCarty, CPA, EA, CTRS, Louisville, KY The topics presented were very timely for things happening in my practice. The presenters were knowledgeable and most entertaining. I received enough information and tips from the 1st presentation alone to make the program worth the time and cost. (Baltimore, 2010) Elden Sodowsky, Esq., Fairfax, VA I attend several seminars per year – this is the only one that holds my interest for the entire day and days. Courses are always structured to meet current needs. Conrad Vanasse, CPA, CTRS, Oxon Hill, MD Knowledge is power and seminars like these empower us with true strength against the IRS. Ernesto Sanchez, EA, Miami, FL Great refresher course and fantastic forum for networking and exchanging practice ideas with other practitioners. Program very well run and organized with top notch and well informed presenters. The material presented will be very useful to me. The speakers were knowledgeable and entertaining. Jack Levy, CPA, CTRS, Latham, NY
All the instructors were excellent. The materials were relevant and up to the minute. The Lawler team, especially Ron Perrino, presented a very worthwhile seminar. We are very glad we attended. Nancy Wolf, CPA, Wilmington, DE This has been one of the best seminars I have attended in years. It was a pleasure to attend topics that are specific areas of detailed items and not elementary in nature.
Bill Morlong, EA - Bayfield, Colorado Very informative and detailed! First time attended, was very satisfied. Good speakers of a thorough knowledge of the code. Insight of the IRS code and tactics and strategies were very helpful for planning purposes. An exceptional seminar, critical for any CPA, EA and Attorney doing tax controversy or representing their client before IRS.
Martin Scheckner, CPA - Miami, FL I always say if I leave a seminar with just one idea or one piece of new knowledge it was worth it – well I am leaving this one with 4 very large pieces of information (Philadelphia 2008) that will help me and my practice and must say the manual is worth it all. Jim Corvino, EA - Wind Gap, Pennsylvania
I especially enjoyed the bankruptcy discussion (Philadelphia 2008) by Gary Bluestein. I do a lot of tax bankruptcies and very few people know much about it. If I have questions I just have to figure it out. Having someone to bounce ideas off of will be a tremendous help.
Reba Wingfield, Esq. - Little Rock, Arkansas
The only organization/seminar where I am still learning new & different techniques for my tax problem resolution practice.
Neil Deininger, CPA, Esq. - Little Rock, Arkansas This seminar was excellent. The knowledgeable diverse speakers gave an in-depth meaning to our daily work. Materials to take home were timely and relevant. This was three days well spent. Kudos to Larry and Ron and their team!
Nancy Wolf, CPA, CTRS - Wilmington, Delaware
This seminar (Philadelphia 2008) helped me to re-examine my current case load in light of the powerful tools and information I obtained in this very excellent 3-day seminar. I gained confidence in my ability to represent taxpayers and I understood where I could seek out other information. Well worth the time, money and effort I spent to be here.
Ninamary Maginnis, Esq. - Louisville, Kentucky
The most powerful tax seminar (Las Vegas 2007) I have attended. The knowledge I will take home will allow me to increase my practice size significantly!!
Charles Enders, CPA, CTRS - Salinas California
I have been practicing tax resolution for more than 20+ years and always learn from an ASTPS seminar!
Steve Rue, EA, CTRS - Mechanicsville, Virginia
The information was very informative and provided very valuable insight into providing quality representation. The instructors were very knowledgeable and experienced and provided their subject matter in a format that was easy to understand and use.
Mike McGrath - Modesto, California What an excellent education in IRS representation! The best (Las Vegas 2007) I have ever attended.
Ben Cox, EA - Dallas, Texas
Even repeat topics are valuable because you learn new nuances and/or applications of what was learned. As always, power packed seminar (Las Vegas 2007)!
Mira Chopra, Esq. - Euclid, Ohio The seminar was excellent. After the first day I wanted to be a member of the organization.
Dean Johnson, CPA - Albuquerque, New Mexico The seminar was great! Topics were relevant. I learned a lot and have new resources and reference material. I plan to stay active in ASTPS and attend at least one seminar per year. Dan Dwyer, CPA - Marmora, New Jersey
Presenters are excellent. For our business this is the most relevant continuing professional education program.
Wayne Miller, CPA - Lansing, Michigan I have attended various tax seminars and this one (Las Vegas 2008) dealt specifically with day to day problems. I was made more aware of how to properly represent my clients. I learned better ways of resolving client cases and working to a more appropriate resolution.
David Ortiz - Redlands, California
Most content rich seminar (Las Vegas 2008) I have attended in 25 years! Jaime Buchwald, CPA - Coral Springs, Florida "I am very glad I came to this (Phoenix 2006). I don’t do a lot of representation (I lean more towards payroll), But I do expect to do more and more of it as our office grows. Attending seminars like this helps me encourage confidence in my ability to handle it."
Roxanne Augenstein, EA - Flagstaff, Arizona
"If I only knew that ASTPS existed before, I would have attended their seminars rather than the seminars from other providers. They have great programs, knowledgeable and expert resource presenters, and accommodating staff."
Guillermo Garcia, EA - Sunland, California
My interest in learning how to set up a tax problem resolution practice is what brought me to my first ASTPS seminars. My goals for attending the seminars were not just to learn how to market the practice and how to handle these cases. I wanted to get a feel for just what kind of practice this was: what kind of people were engaged in this kind of practice, what kind of people would the clients be, what was the earning potential of this kind of practice, etc. I also wanted to meet people who could become part of a network that would assist me to be successful in this practice. My attendances at the two seminars I have attended has helped me to more than meet all of those goals. I am implementing what I learned at the seminars and I have new clients coming into my practice and I know what to do with them when they get here, (With a little help from my friends!). I plan to attend all future ASTPS seminars so that I can continue to learn and grow this practice, and I plan to send my new assistant to the ASTPS "Perfect Administrative Assistant" Training Program. Kay Nehring, Esq. - Midland, Texas "Great Seminar! (Baltimore 2006) It's one (if not the only one) of the best seminars in tax problem resolution work, from technical to marketing, it's the best! I've attended every ASTPS seminar and each and every time I learn new things that I can employ in my practice." Michael Rozbruch, CPA, CTRS - Encino, California "Larry, I enjoy all your seminars, but in my opinion, this one (Baltimore 2006) was the best of them all! All-Star cast and materials." John Tenery, Esq. - Mission Viejo, California "The Baltimore 2006 seminar covered up to the minute IRS changes, and provided practical tips for marketing. The presenters brought real world experiences to the attendees clarifying theory through working examples. A good refresher program that also covered the basics." James Sinn, CPA - Orange Park, Florida "The Baltimore 2006 seminar was a must for anyone who represents clients both in practice and representation. L.G. Brooks was great." Edward Garcia, EA - Miami Lakes, Florida "Another GREAT seminar that was jammed packed with information. I enjoyed the speakers and the topics were fresh and different from the last seminar, I found a few gems that will help me in my practice. I also was reminded of a few items that I had not used in a while that can also be very useful." Gary Stapleton, CPA, CTRS - Clackamas, Oregon "The recent seminar (January 2005-Tampa, Florida) was an excellent motivational educational experience. The crux of the materials was guidance for negotiating Offers In Compromise for individuals who have significant income and/or assets. This information alone made it a worthwhile trip. Bankruptcy and software (separate speakers) both were very knowledgeable and informative. Larry Lawler's marketing tips are always motivational." Nancy Wolf, CPA - Wilmington, Delaware "Your timing is perfect! This seminar provided the most practical and useful information of any seminar I have attended. I tried the "tree of wealth" on the first client who walked in on Monday and secured $1,200 I would have otherwise given away for free. Then on Wednesday I used the penalty abatement information and found a defense for the accuracy related penalty in a record fifteen minutes. I saved the client $29,000 and earned my $5,000 fee (which was prepaid) in a total three hours, for what otherwise was going to be a difficult OIC based on doubt as to liability and separate year notice of deficiency. Need I go on?" Doris Martinez, EA - Lakewood, Colorado
