After 47 years of tax work I've learned classes on tax work can be very boring. Everyone at ASTPS somehow makes the classes enjoyable and what we learn is easier to apply to our practice. If I had to drop every other class and membership but one they would be the one I would keep.

My experiences with ASTPS have been very positive, enlightening and educational. I've never had this totally positive experience anywhere else in all of my many years of tax practice. They are very well informed of current tax laws and practical procedures available to implement or. They make even the most complex issues seem so simple. The Webinar I just completed gives me a heads-up of things to come (good and bad)! ASTPS is at the top of my list of who to go to!

ASTPS is AWESOME, their Tax Resolution courses are AMAZING and On POINT, they give so much training throughout the year, and you have access to them for questions!! Because of them I started my own Resolution Practice, I HIGHLY recommend them, NO HYPE, they are the REAL DEAL!!

There is SO MUCH included in the All-Access Pass check it out below!

Super Conference 2027

This year’s in-person seats sold out FAST, so for the 21st Annual Super Conference we moved to a bigger venue in Sugar Land, TX, just outside Houston.

For three days, you’ll learn from instructors who still work these cases. They’ll cover what the IRS changed this year and how they’re handling it in their own cases.

Between sessions, you’ll compare notes with hundreds of practitioners who deal with the same Revenue Officers you do.

Even at the early-bird rate, a Super Conference ticket alone is $997. That’s more than half the price of the Essentials Pass, and the pass includes everything else on these pages too.

Dates: Nov 9-11, 2027
Location: You can attend virtually
or in-person.

Houston Marriott Sugar Land
16090 City Walk, Sugar Land, TX 77479
36 minutes from Hobby Airport

Attend THREE Virtual One-Day Conferences

Three times a year, you’ll block off one day for the topics that matter most in tax resolution right now.

Each virtual conference has five or six instructors teaching all-new sessions, chosen for the practitioners who want to stay at the top of the field. It ends with a live Q&A, so you can ask about the case sitting on your desk. That’s 21 hours of CE without a flight or a hotel room.

Dates:
Spring: May 20
Summer: July 15
Winter: Jan 13, 2028

PS – These events ALWAYS sell out, by purchasing the All-Access Conference Pass you’re guaranteeing you have a spot!

Attend FOUR Live Case Studies

Four times next year, an ASTPS instructor will open a real case file and work it in front of you for two hours.

You’ll see the transcripts, the financials, and each decision point. You’ll hear why they chose the resolution they did and what they’d have done if the facts were different. Ask your questions as the case unfolds.

A resolution case typically pays $3,000 to $5,000. Handle one case better because of something you saw here, and the Essentials Pass has paid for itself.

Dates: May 28 | July 23 | Aug 25 | Oct 21

Attend THREE Masterclass Trainings

No basics and no filler. Each masterclass goes deep on one high-stakes topic for two full hours, so you come away ready to use it on your next case.

June 9: Asset Protection Masterclass. Learn how to shield your client’s home, wages and accounts when the IRS starts looking for something to seize.

Aug 12: ACS/PPS Masterclass. Get past the phone tree and the hold times. You’ll see how the IRS’s automated collection and practitioner lines really work, and how to get results on the first call.

Sept 30: Transcript Analysis Masterclass. Read a transcript like a roadmap. Spot the codes, deadlines and red flags that tell you what the IRS is about to do before it does it.

Attend TWO “What Would You Do?” Trainings

Twice next year, we’ll put a series of common resolution scenarios on the screen, the kind that land on your desk with missing facts and a deadline attached. After each one, we’ll ask the room, “What would you do?”

You’ll commit to an answer before you hear anyone else’s. Then we’ll talk it through together, and you’ll find out where your instincts match the instructors’ and where they don’t.

In your own practice, you usually find that out after the case is closed. Here you find out with nothing at stake.

Dates: May 6 | Nov 23

Brooks IRM Breakdowns

LG Brooks has the Internal Revenue Manual memorized. We don’t recommend you try that.

You do need to know the cites that matter, because the IRS employee across from you is supposed to follow the IRM too.

When they skip a required step, the cite is how you hand it back to them. Every other week, you’ll get a short video of LG explaining one cite he relies on: what it says, when it applies, and how to use it for your clients.

26 IRM cites over the year
A new video sent every other week

Monthly Challenge Quizzes

Every month you’ll get a quiz on one resolution topic, such as Offers in Compromise, installment agreements, or penalty abatement.

When you finish, you’ll see the correct answer to each question and an explanation of why it’s right. Over the year, that’s 12 topics checked against what you think you know.

A gap in your knowledge usually shows up at the worst possible time, in the middle of a client’s case. These quizzes help you find it first.

2-Hour Ethics Training

You need ethics hours every year, and most ethics CE is a slog.

This session is built on situations from resolution work: due diligence on a client’s financials, conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and what Circular 230 lets you say in your marketing.

Date: Dec 16

2 hours of ethics CE for EAs and CPAs*
*CPA CPE ethics approved by NASBA – confirm your eligibility with your state.

Revenue Ramp-Up Live!

Tax season puts more people with IRS problems in front of you than any other time of year. Most of them leave with a return and nothing else.

In this full-day virtual event in January, you’ll set your fees, plan how to spot resolution work among your tax clients, and decide where your hours go before the rush starts.

How to structure fees and explain them
Cross-sells, upsells, and time management
Marketing resolution during tax season

Monthly Resolution Business Mastermind

Once a month, Elite members meet by video with Larry Lawler, LG Brooks, John Witkowski, and Mitchell Piper. Larry and LG bring decades of resolution experience, and Mitchell runs marketing for ASTPS.

Bring whatever is in your way. It could be a technical case you’re stuck on, a marketing channel that stopped producing, or a business decision you keep putting off.

Request a hot seat or send your question ahead of time, and get answers from people who have handled it before, including the other firm owners in the group.

If you have nothing to bring that month, come anyway. You’ll learn from everyone else’s questions and help them with theirs.

This group replaces our original mastermind, where members paid $497 a month. That’s $5,964 a year, more than the price of the entire Elite Pass.

We closed that group and made it part of Elite. The people, the hot seats, and the monthly calls are all still here.

– 12 live video zoom meetings (April 2027-March 2028)
– Request a hot seat or submit questions in advance
– Never recorded, so what you share stays in the group
– Elite is limited to 40 pass holders

Elite Retreat in Washington, DC

Next year, we’re taking a group to Alexandria, Virginia, just across the Potomac from Washington, DC, for a two-day workshop retreat. Your ticket is included with the Elite Pass.

Half of the retreat is a workshop with the ASTPS instructors, and you might even have some IRS personnel join us!

The other half is the city. We’ll head into DC together for tours and food arranged for the group. You’ll get unhurried time with the instructors over a meal or on the walk between stops. That’s the kind of conversation that never fits in a Zoom chat box.

Much of your Elite year happens on video. These are the two days you spend in the same room as the people you’ve been learning from, and you’ll leave knowing them.

Elite members get first claim on seats. Any space left after that will be sold for $1,297 a ticket.

We plan the workshop, the tours, and the group meals. You just book your travel and hotel. Two days in Alexandria, VA, and Washington, DC – Workshop, tours, and group meals included

Dates: August 4-5, 2027

Some portions may be available virtually, but plan to attend in person for the full experience

Your Cut of $10K Ad Spend

We’re spending $10,000 on advertising for Elite Pass holders, and you’ll get a minimum of 10 leads from people in your state. They start arriving as early as the 2027 tax season and keep coming throughout the year. You won’t build a campaign, write an ad, or manage a budget.

A resolution case typically pays $3,000 to $5,000. Sign one of those 10 leads, and the Elite Pass has nearly paid for itself. Everything else in the pass is a bonus.

Minimum of 10 leads, all in your state
Starting as early as the 2027 tax season (When you pay for the pass in full)

Lead Conversion Kit

A lead doesn’t pay you until they sign. This kit covers everything between the first phone call and a signed engagement:

A call script for the first conversation
Follow-up emails for leads who don’t sign on the first call
Intake questions to qualify the case
An interview checklist so nothing gets missed

It’s built to pair with the leads we’re sending you, and it works on the leads you already get. Every extra one you sign could be another $3,000 to $5,000 case!

Tax Resolution Accelerator

The Accelerator is our foundational training, 27 hours across four stages. Your Elite Pass includes one ticket to any 2027 cohort, in person or virtual.

Use the ticket yourself as a refresher, or give it to someone on your team.
Training a new hire yourself means teaching transcripts and 433-As on hours you could be billing. Send them to the Accelerator instead, and they come back ready to work cases the way you do.

Bought on its own, an Accelerator early bird seat starts at $1,497.

One ticket, good for any 2027 cohort (Dates Released in January)
In person or virtual
For you or a staff member

Presentation Marketing

Presentation Marketing is a two-day business development workshop. You’ll build one talk that brings in clients, referrals, and invitations to speak again.

You’ll learn how to structure it from the hook to the close, and how to adapt it for three different rooms: other tax pros, referral partners like real estate offices, and taxpayers. Then you’ll learn how to get booked, including how to pitch a lunch-and-learn and how to follow up afterward.

If speaking makes you nervous, this workshop was built with you in mind.
You’ll build the presentation during the workshop. By the end of day two, you’ll have a written hook, a structure, slides under way, and a plan for where to give it first.

Two days, live on Zoom
For firm owners, marketers, and staff
Dates: Sept 1-2

Super Conference Pre-Event + VIP Ticket

With hundreds of people in Sugar Land next November, a front-row seat and a few minutes with the instructors are hard to come by. Elite Pass holders get both.

It starts the day before the main event at the Pre-Event: good food, a smaller crowd, and time to talk before the sessions start. Then you’ll get VIP treatment for the rest of the conference.

Into the room early to pick your seat
Your own VIP check-in line
Meet and greets and photos with the instructors
A few VIP-only surprises along the way

Date: Pre-Event November 8th (In-person only)

Who is this package NOT for?

The All-Access Conference Pass is for practitioners who already have a basic understanding of tax resolution. If you are brand new we recommend taking our Tax Resolution Practice Accelerator or at a minimum our Intro to Tax Resolution course prior to registration in any advanced programs.

You don’t need to be advanced to attend… You attend to become advanced!

Just like a house needs a strong foundation so does your education. Once you’ve gotten a good grasp of the fundamentals of tax resolution our advanced courses will provide deep dives into very specific topics.
